Slow moves from # 2 to # 1 on the Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart (February 28 2004), making it her 3rd song to top that chart (following Can't Get You Out Of My Head, and Love At First Sight). The song has entered Billboard's Hot 100 at # 93. Body Language sold app. 46,266 copies in it's first week of sales in the US and charted at # 42 on Billboard 200 ablums charts. It Canada the album didn't fare much better charting at # 41. Let's hope that the release of Red Blooded Woman gives the album a push.

Kylie ended her US promotion at the Queer Eye party in New York at Avalon's. She played 6 tracks to an ecstatic crowd.
1. Come Into My World
2. Red Blooded Woman
3. Locomotion (Funk Mix)
4. Can't Get You Out Of My Head

She then went into an impromptu accapella piece of Your Disco Needs You with the crowds help.

February 9 2004: Congratulations Kylie on your Grammy win

Kylie won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording for "Come Into My World" last night at the 46th annual Grammy Award. However if you watched the show on CBS you would have never known. Kylie won her award at the pre-Grammy telecast that was not shown on TV. Nevertheless Kylie seemed delighted, and it's great news as the album Body Language is released to the stores tomorrow.

SLOW moves from # 9 to # 6 to a new peak of # 4 (for the week ending Feb 14, 2004) on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and peaks at # 9 on the Dance Radio Airplay chart. It looks like Capitol is giving up on Slow and is already promoting Red Blooded Woman.

February 4 2004: Red Blooded Woman released in Canada

Slow has moved up to # 6 on the Canadian singles sales chart but has failed to light up at radio. Capitol Canada has released Red Blooded Woman which is already being played on Montreal stations like MIX 96 who passed up on Slow. Kylie is confirmed to be appearing at the Grammy's on February the 8th, she is nominated for Best Dance Recording for Come Into My World.

Australia is releasing a limited edition (20 000) 6 track CD of Red Blooded Woman on February 23rd pre-order the CD here see the track listing here.

January 22 2004: Slow top ten in Canada and US Dance charts

Slow is the highest new entry on the Canadian singles sales chart at # 8, the song is also doing well in the US were it leaps into Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play Chart from # 16 to # 9 (for the week ending January 31, 2004).The song is at # 9 on Montreal's CKOI.

It looks like Kylie will be all ready to conquer North America. Her first promotion stop is on the Today Show (NBC) on February 2nd. The video to Red Blooded Woman will premiere in the UK on CD:UK Saturday 24th of January.

January 12 2004: Canadian release enhanced with bonus tracks

These songs have not appeared on any other package in the world and are exclusively for North America. The CD wil also contain an Enhanced Bonus section featuring: Kylie's 'Slow' video, The making of the 'Slow' video and 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' previously unreleased Live Video... December 15 2003: Grammy Nomination, Queer TV, and new single news

Congratulations to Kylie who garners another Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording for the single Come Into My World, it goes up against Cher's Love One Another Madonna's Die Another Day, Breathe by Télépopmusik, and Easy by Groove Armada. Last Year Love At First Sight was nominated in the same catogory. The Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles at Staples Center on Sunday February 8, 2004.

Just announced in addition to Kylie appearing on the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy soundtrack , Kylie will be appearing in an eposide on the popular US TV series in 2004. She will help give out fashion advice and promote her new album Body Language. Kylie has also confirmed that her next single in the UK will be Red Blooded Woman, she is currently filming the video. The US album of Body Language is rumoured to have two bonus tracks You Make Me feel, and Cruise Control .

November 28 2003: Body Language # 6, Queer Eye for Kylie

Body Language makes it's debut on the UK charts at # 6 after a heavy week of album releases, and # 2 in Australia. Most records stores in big Canadian cities like Toronto and Montreal have imported the album. These sales do not count for Canada and I wonder how it will effect the succes of the album when it is officially released February 10th.

Capitol records in the US will be releasing on February 10th (same day as Body Language) a soundtrack to the successful show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The CD will include new songs from Elton John, Basement Jaxx and a previously unreleased Chemical Brothers remix of the new Kylie Minogue single "Slow".

November 12 2003: SLOW # 1
Kylie does it again as SLOW debuts at # 1 in the UK and Australia, making it her 9th # 1 in OZ and her 7th in the UK. It also breaks a record making Kylie the female with the longest span of # 1singles in the UK. From I Should Be So Lucky to Slow with 15 years and 7 months. Kylie is ahead of Madonna's record with only 6 months.
